About Bautistas Landscaping

Sunnyside is desert that decided to be green, and the deciding happens each spring when water comes back into the canal laterals. Bautistas Landscaping works with that water, mowing the lawns of the Lower Valley, edging along walks and drives, trimming where grass meets fence and post. Under this much sun the growth is hard and fast from April on, and a week of it is easy to read from the street. The cut goes down even, the lines get tidied, the cuttings ride off in the truck, and the yard looks deliberate against all that sagebrush country past the last row of houses. In a valley of hop yards and vine rows, a well-kept lawn is its own small field.
