Sonder Lawncare Co.

About Sonder Lawncare Co.

Suncrest sits up on the plateau where the ponderosa thin out over basalt and Lake Spokane lies below in a long blue seam. Grass here is something you earn, since July runs hot and rainless and a lawn is only as good as the attention it gets. Sonder Lawncare Co. mows on a steady rotation through that dry stretch, trims around the pine trunks and rock outcrops a mower has to dodge, and cuts the drive edges back to a line. Autumn brings needle drop and leaf, and the clearing that goes with it, before winter flattens the whole plateau into white. In between there is the smell of warm pine and cut grass, which is most of what summer up here smells like.
