About Sam's Tree & Landscape, LLC

The Garland District's old ponderosa pines drop their snow load in heavy sheets some evenings, burying a driveway that was clear an hour before. Sam's Tree & Landscape works those blocks after dark, clearing the walks again and hauling off any branches that didn't hold up under the weight. Those pines have stood over the district's small houses far longer than the streets below them, and a storm heavy enough to test them is also heavy enough to keep the crew's night short. Streetlights through the bare branches throw moving shadows across the snow while the plow makes its second pass of the evening. By the last run, the walks are clear and the yards are picked clean of anything the trees let go.
