About Ron Davis Lawncare & Landscaping

Comstock Park's pool sits closed and drifted over by January, but the streets around it still need clearing every time a storm comes through. Ron Davis Lawncare & Landscaping usually works that neighborhood in the late afternoon, when the low winter sun comes flat through the bare trees and throws every icy patch into sharp relief. That slanted light is useful, actually, showing up the glare ice a flatter midday sun would hide, so the crew reads the block by shadow as much as by eye. Driveways along the park's edge get cleared last to first, working from the far corner back toward the truck so no fresh tire track crosses a finished job. By the time the sun drops behind the ridge, the block sits clean and dark against the white of the closed pool and the empty park beyond it.
