About South Hill Tree Services

On the edges of Spanaway, where the prairie gives way to the fir and maple of Bresemann Forest, snow tends to hang differently — a thin crust on open ground, but heavier, wetter clumps caught in the canopy that let go all at once when a branch finally gives. South Hill Tree Services works those forest-edge properties first on a snow morning, taking down what's already cracked and clearing what's likely to drop next, before the driveway plow even starts its run. Once the trees are safe, the crew turns to the driveway and the walk to the door, scraping them down in time for a school-day morning when a slick step matters more than usual. There's a plain kind of pride in a forest-edge lot left both safer and clearer — no widow-maker branch left hanging, no ice left on the steps. By the time the kids are out the door and down the drive, the work that made that ordinary walk possible is already finished and forgotten.
