About A & M Landscape LLC

South Hill rolls above the Puyallup valley in long green swells, and on a clear winter morning Mount Rainier sits huge and white on the horizon like it's keeping an eye on the neighborhoods below. When snow actually reaches the hill instead of just dusting the mountain, A & M Landscape LLC works the curving driveways and sloped walkways that make this terrain tricky — a flat street in Puyallup can be a hillside street a mile up on South Hill. The crew clears steps and walkways before the ice sets into the grade, because a driveway on a slope here isn't just inconvenient when it's frozen, it's genuinely steep. There's real pride in leaving a driveway scraped down to blacktop on a hill where the ice would otherwise hold for days in the shade of the fir trees. By the time the fog lifts off the valley and Rainier reappears in full, the walk to the mailbox is already safe.
