About WindowWorks Property Services

South Bend sits where the Willapa River widens into the bay, oyster boats idle at the dock, and the county courthouse dome watches over streets that mostly know rain, not snow. But when a cold snap slides down from the north and freezes the fog right onto the pavement, WindowWorks Property Services is out clearing driveways and lots before the ice gets a grip on the hill streets above the water. The work here is less about deep drifts and more about a stubborn glaze — the kind that forms overnight off the bay and turns a boat-launch ramp treacherous by morning. A cleared driveway on a South Bend hillside, with the bay fog still hanging over the oyster beds below, is a small, specific kind of relief. The crew salts walkways and lots so the rare freeze doesn't keep the town's early risers off their own front steps.
