Dream Turf

About Dream Turf

A stretch of new turf sits oddly still under the season's first snow, none of the give or brown patches that mark a natural lawn this time of year around Snohomish. Dream Turf spends most months laying and tending exactly that kind of ground, and on the rare day real snow falls, the crew turns to clearing the driveways and walkways leading up to it instead. Salt goes down light, since both turf and concrete take a beating from too much of it. It's short work in a valley built more around rain than snow, but a plowed path matters to a homeowner curious how the new lawn is holding up underneath. By the next thaw, the driveway's bare and the turf beneath is exactly as it was left.
