About Adan’s Professional Landscaping and Farming service

The Snohomish valley wakes in layers: river mist first, then the flat green of the fields, then the light coming over the Cascade foothills. Adan's Professional Landscaping and Farming service runs its mowing routes while that mist is still lying in the low corners of a yard. Grass here grows long and grows fast, fed by nine months of soft rain, and it takes a steady hand and a sharp blade to keep a lawn looking deliberate rather than merely cut. The crew mows, edges the walks, trims the fence lines by hand and blows the clippings back off the drive, so the finished yard reads as one shape from the road. Fertilizing and weed treatment carry it through the dry stretch of August, when Snohomish lawns start reaching for water. Ordinary work, done attentively, on ground that gives back everything you put into it.
