Susan's Green Cleaning

About Susan's Green Cleaning

Near Echo Lake, close enough to the county line that Shoreline blurs into its neighbors, the streets sit low enough to hold frost in the yards well past the point where the rest of the hill has cleared. Susan's Green Cleaning treats those driveways and front walks the way it treats a kitchen floor in the warmer months, corner to corner, nothing skipped because it's out of the way. Ice melt goes down at the porch steps first, then the driveway gets cleared back to the garage, then the mailbox path gets the same treatment so nobody has to choose between the mail and a clean pair of shoes. The lake itself stays open through most cold snaps, just a skin of ice at its margins some mornings. It's small, exact work, the kind that makes one entryway at a time feel taken care of before the rest of the day starts.
