About SRD Landscape & Construction LLC

Sanderson Field sits on open, flat ground at the edge of Shelton, one of the few stretches of land around here without a stand of fir breaking up the wind. SRD Landscape & Construction works the properties near the airfield where that same open exposure means snow drifts instead of just falling, piling deeper against a garage door or a fence line than it does in town. Clearing a driveway out there is as much about reading where the wind has pushed the snow as it is about the depth of it, plow blade angled to cut drifts down before they can pack into ice. The construction side of the business means the equipment is already built for moving material in volume, which comes in handy on a morning when a drift is thigh-deep against someone's shop door. By midmorning the wind is usually still blowing, but the driveways are clear enough that it doesn't matter.
