Up along Hood Canal past Union, summer evenings hold the light late and the water goes flat enough to mirror the far ridge. Richy Mendoza Landscaping and Fence works north of Shelton on those long days — mowing, edging along drives and paths, trimming close to posts and rock walls, cleanups when the season shifts.
