Dan's Landscape Service

About Dan's Landscape Service

By July the cabins around Mason Lake are full, and every one of them wants the grass between the porch and the dock short enough to walk barefoot. Dan's Landscape Service runs those weeks at lakeside pace — mowing, trimming around posts and boat trailers, edging where lawn gives way to gravel, clippings swept off the path. Lake lawns grow uneven, lush at the wet end and thin under the firs at the other, and getting them to read as one lawn takes attention. Done right, the yard disappears into the afternoon and nobody thinks about it at all. That is the compliment this work is really after.
