About Arturo Mendoza Landscaping

On summer afternoons at Kneeland Park the big-leaf maples throw enough shade that the grass underneath stays cool while the rest of Shelton bakes. Arturo Mendoza Landscaping holds neighborhood lawns to that same standard through July and August — cut at the right height, edges kept honest, the trimmer run clean around every post and stone. Dry weeks here are short but sharp, and a lawn scalped during one of them will tell on you for a month afterward. Doing it right means reading the grass instead of the calendar. The result is a yard still green in the last week of August, when half the block has gone gold.
