Envious Greens

About Envious Greens

There is a green that happens here in June that hardly seems earned — rain wrung out by the mountains, long northern daylight, and turf that simply will not quit. Envious Greens chases it with a mowing schedule that keeps the color without letting the grass run off, plus edging, trimming, and beds held clear. Cut high enough and often enough, a Sequim lawn will carry that color deep into a dry August. The stripes run true, the walks get swept, and nothing ends up tracked out into the street. It is the sort of yard that makes a neighbor slow the car down, which is presumably the idea.
