About Primal Tree Service LLC

The neighborhoods off State Street in Sedro-Woolley grew up under Douglas fir and cedar that were already tall before most of the houses were built, and those same trees turn heavy and dangerous when ice coats the branches. Primal Tree Service LLC spends winter storms watching for exactly that — a limb bent low over a roofline, a driveway blocked by a branch that let go overnight — and clearing it before it becomes anything worse. The old hospital grounds turned recreation area at the edge of town have some of the biggest trees around, and a walk through there after a freeze shows what these trees can carry before something gives. Clearing a driveway here often means the tree work comes first: the ice-locked branch cut and lowered, the wood hauled off, and only then the plow blade or shovel finishing the job underneath. It's satisfying, plain work — the kind where a homeowner looks up at a canopy that used to worry them and feels nothing but relief.
