About A-1 Safety Tree Service, LLC

Fog holds low over the Skagit most winter mornings, thick enough that A-1 Safety Tree Service's trucks roll out with headlights on well past sunrise, following back roads along the river toward whichever driveway got buried or blocked overnight. Sedro-Woolley sits where the valley narrows and the cedars and big-leaf maples lean in close, so a hard freeze here means ice-heavy limbs across a lane as often as it means snow on the gravel. The crew clears both in the same pass — the downed branch first, then the drive underneath it — so a homeowner wakes to a path to the road instead of a puzzle. By midmorning the fog usually lifts off the river and the foothills toward Lyman and Hamilton come back into view, snow dusting the higher ground while the valley floor runs clear. There's a particular satisfaction in that reveal: the fog gone, the drive open, the timber that fell in the night already bucked and stacked at the curb.
