About Verano Landscaping LLC

The Duwamish runs slow and green past Georgetown, and the flats along it hold August heat longer than the rest of Seattle. Verano Landscaping LLC works those blocks in the long afternoon light, mowing yards wedged between brick warehouses and running the edger down South Park sidewalks until the line reads clean as a chalk mark. There is a particular satisfaction in a small city lot cut well: the trimmer taken around each fence post, the clippings carried off, the whole square looking larger than it did an hour before. Planes drop toward Boeing Field overhead and the route continues, yard after yard, street after street. When the rain finally returns over the river, the same lawns get their leaves raked away and the ground goes quiet for a while.
