Late winter in Seattle has its own soundtrack: rain ticking on rooftops and, after dark, chorus frogs calling from wet yards and wooded ravines. TreeFrog Lawn & Landscape works the city's lawns through that long damp stretch and on into the dry weeks of summer, mowing, edging, and keeping planting beds in hand between the Sound and the lake. Moss creeps into every shaded corner here, and Seattle grass runs lush in spring before going thirsty by August, so each season asks for something different. The finished look is pure Pacific Northwest: emerald turf, a clean seam where grass meets sidewalk, ferns and shrubs neatly kept against the house. Seattle's rain sets the calendar, and TreeFrog follows it.
