August in Columbia City is the dry month, when Seattle forgets it rains and the lawns go tan at their edges. Le Landscapes & Yardwork sets the deck a notch higher then, letting the blades shade their own roots, and keeps the trimming tight around fruit trees and fence lines. Laurel and privet get squared off before the heat softens them; beds are weeded and mulched to hold whatever water there is. When the rain comes back in October those same yards get overseeded and fed, and the green returns with it.
