About Angels Landscaping

Capitol Hill yards climb: a retaining wall, four steps up from the sidewalk, a square of lawn the size of a rug, and a rhododendron older than the house leaning over all of it. Angels Landscaping keeps those small terraced places in order — mowing tight lawns, shearing hedges to a clean line, cutting back the spring surge, weeding beds and carrying the trimmings down to the truck by hand. In May the whole neighborhood goes pink and white at once, and the difference between tended and overgrown is about eighteen inches of hedge. Volunteer Park's lawns are just up the street, so the standard around here is set in plain sight. They work to it, one narrow lot at a time.
