About 2 guys lawn care

In Ballard the day starts with salt water coming up off Salmon Bay, and a mower is already running before the first boat clears the locks. 2 guys lawn care is exactly what the name says — two people, one truck, and a route through the bungalow blocks between Sunset Hill and the ship canal. They mow to a straight line, edge the sidewalk strips until the concrete shows its own gray again, trim along fences and foundation walls, and blow every clipping off the walk before they go. By afternoon the light runs long and low across the yards and the grass looks combed. It is small work carried all the way to the end, on the same day each week.
