About Buds & Blades Landscape Company

When Scatter Creek runs high in April and the cottonwoods along it go from bare to blurred green inside a week, Rochester lawns wake all at once. Buds & Blades Landscape Company meets that surge with mowing, string trimming, edging and the spring cleanup that clears winter's litter off the grass. There is a particular satisfaction in the first real cut of the year, the smell of it, the way a shaggy yard turns rectangular and calm in an hour. Every week after, they keep that line holding against a valley that would gladly grow over everything given the chance. The route runs through Rochester and out to Gate, Oakville and the Grand Mound flats.
