About Sunscapes Inc

A Richland storm rarely lingers — the Columbia Basin's winter pattern tends to drop its snow overnight and then clear to a hard, bright blue by morning, sun glinting off every windshield and rooftop in town. Sunscapes Inc works that overnight window, plowing commercial lots and long residential driveways while the snow is still fresh and manageable, well before that morning sun turns it into a sheet of glare ice on anything left untouched. It's a race against the basin's own weather pattern as much as against the clock: the same clear sky that makes a Richland winter morning bright is exactly what refreezes an uncleared lot into a hazard by nine. The crew moves fast across town while the light is still gray, working driveway to driveway and lot to lot before the sun comes fully up over the hills east of the river. By the time that Richland sunshine arrives, the ground it's shining on has already been cleared.
