Grass Lawn Park Playground

About Grass Lawn Park Playground

At three in the afternoon the playground at Grass Lawn Park is the loudest corner in the neighborhood, and the grass around it takes the brunt of that. The lawn work here is close and careful — trimming tight against play-structure borders and posts, mowing the aprons of turf where families spread out, keeping the line between grass and play surface crisp rather than creeping. Redmond rain keeps things growing nearly year-round, so the passes come often and a cleanup follows every leaf drop. Small area, high standard: the difference between a worn corner and a green one is only attention. Come summer it is the softest patch of ground for a hundred yards in any direction.
