Mama maintenance

About Mama maintenance

In the older streets off Fruitland and Woodland the front yards are small enough to cross in ten steps, and each one is somebody's whole outdoors. Mama maintenance treats them that way — mowing, trimming around the porch steps and the fence posts, edging the walk, pulling weeds from the beds, carrying off what's been cut. Small yards show every missed corner, so the corners are where the care goes. On an October afternoon, leaves cleared and grass short, a little front lawn can look like the tidiest thing in Pierce County. Home is the point; the yard is simply where it starts.
