About Basseth's Lawnmowing and Landscaping

Military Hill teaches you fast which yards are flat and which ones are a climb, and Basseth's Lawnmowing and Landscaping knows most of them by the pitch of the driveway. The mowing runs across the slope in steady passes, trimmer work after, then the clippings cleared down off the steps and walks. Shrubs and hedges get shaped back so the windows keep their view of the hills west of town. Mulch goes into the beds where runoff likes to carry soil away. It is plain work done in order, and a hillside yard that somehow looks level when it isn't.
