About Clean Gene's Exterior Property Maintenance
Down in Charleston, the shipyard's floodlights are still burning when the trucks roll out ahead of the day shift change, working the lots and walkways between Sinclair Inlet and the rows of houses that climb away from it. A Bremerton snow rarely lasts more than a day or two, but it always seems to land the night before a shift starts, and a cleared path to the parking lot matters more here than almost anywhere else in town. The crew clears curb to curb along the streets that feed the shipyard gates, then works back through the residential blocks above, where the grade steepens and the ice lingers longest. There's a particular satisfaction in a lot scraped clean before the first cars arrive, steam still rising off the inlet behind it. It's unglamorous work on a short deadline, and it gets done anyway.
