About Field's Tree Care LLC

Ludlow Bay lies still most mornings, masts in the marina, the Olympics standing over the far shore in whatever light they feel like giving. Field's Tree Care LLC works this stretch of Jefferson County, where the timber that replaced the old mill woods has grown tall enough to lean on everything. Tree removal is the big-ticket day, a Douglas fir over a roofline taken down in measured pieces, the wood cut and the lot cleared while the gear is still rigged. Trimming and pruning are the smaller kindnesses: a madrona given room, a laurel brought back off a walkway, a maple opened so the beds beneath it can dry out. Winter southerlies come up the canal and take their share, and storm damage cleanup answers them, limbs off the drive and the yard put right before the next front arrives.
