About Natural Landscaping & Excavation, LLC

Weather comes up the length of Hood Canal from the southwest, and February can hand you three kinds of sky before lunch. Natural Landscaping & Excavation, LLC works lawns straight through it — mowing on the dry breaks, cleanups, edging, trimming, and clearing the winter's fall of cedar and fir litter off the turf. Ground that stays damp under second growth wants a lighter hand and better timing, and that timing is most of the skill. What we're after is simple and visible: grass that stands up again, beds with a defined edge, a yard that looks tended in the middle of a gray month. When the clouds finally split over the water, a cut lawn is the brightest thing in sight.
