About Sitkum Tree Service

West of Port Angeles the rain arrives sideways out of the Sol Duc country, and the cedar out there grows moss upon moss until a limb weighs far more than it looks. Sitkum Tree Service reads that weight for a living. Tree removal in wet timber means dropping a hemlock into a lane the width of a truck, then bucking it small enough that nobody's pasture gets torn up. Trimming and pruning handle the slower troubles, a maple leaning toward a well house, a fir shading a garden into permanent dusk. Storm damage cleanup is the season's punctuation: a road opened, a roof cleared, and by afternoon nothing left but sawdust going dark in the drizzle.
