About ONA Landscaping

In July the light over Port Angeles hangs on until nearly ten, and that last hour is the best one for looking at a lawn that has just been cut. ONA Landscaping works those long evenings in the neighborhoods above the Peabody Creek ravine, where the ground tilts toward the water and every yard becomes a small terrace of its own. Mowing, trimming, edging, beds cleared and clippings gone — plain things, done in order, until a property reads as cared for from the street. Rain does most of the growing on this coast; the job is keeping honest pace with it. There is a plain pleasure in the mower's last pass, the stripe running true and the smell of cut grass drifting downhill toward Race Street.
