About Mountainshade Landscaping

Mount Angeles stands close enough over Port Angeles that in winter its shadow reaches into the streets by mid-afternoon. Mountainshade Landscaping knows what that shade does to a lawn — moss, thin patches, damp corners that never fully dry — and answers it with mowing, edging, trimming, moss and thatch cleanups, and clearing leaves and needles off the turf. Shaded ground wants a higher cut and a lighter hand rather than a fight. Treated that way, a north-facing yard can hold up beside the sunny one across the street. Getting an even, unbroken green out of a shaded lot is the satisfying part of this work.
