Grounded Tree Service & Excavation

About Grounded Tree Service & Excavation

The Elwha runs its own way again west of town, braiding through gravel where a reservoir used to sit, and cottonwood and alder have come racing back along it. Grounded Tree Service & Excavation works that valley and the streets looking down on it, taking on tree removal where a heavy fir stands too near a roof to leave to chance. Trimming and pruning fill the ordinary days: weight eased off a long limb, deadwood pulled out of a maple, a hedge line brought back so a driveway feels wide again. Storm damage cleanup is the winter version of the same skill, done fast, with the tree off the fence, the wood cut to stove length and the lawn combed clean. Tree work leaves almost no trace of itself when it is done right, and that is the finish worth chasing.
