About Blue Mountain Tree Service, Inc.

Deer Park Road leaves Port Angeles through pasture and climbs until fir gives way to wind-bent subalpine, and by late September there is snow up there while town is still mowing. Blue Mountain Tree Service, Inc. works the whole of that gradient, from tree removal on the bench above the highway where a fir has outgrown its setback, to pruning and trimming in older streets where the maples were planted a good deal closer together than anyone imagined. It is careful work: a rope, a plan, and a crown coming down in pieces small enough to carry. What people notice afterward is the tidiness, the cuts flat, the walk cleared, the yard suddenly bigger than it was. Winter brings the other half of the calendar, storm damage cleanup after the Strait sends a night of wind across the foothills.
