Flynn's Lawn Care and Exterior

About Flynn's Lawn Care and Exterior

Pomeroy sits in a fold of the wheat country, with Pataha Creek running through town and the Blue Mountains standing up dark to the south. In August the hills go gold and the combines raise dust you can see from the highway, and a green lawn in that light is a small, deliberate thing. Flynn's Lawn Care and Exterior mows, trims and edges the yards along Main Street and out on the county roads, keeping the grass even and the boundaries sharp. Afterward the trimmings get swept off the walk, and when the maples turn and the wind comes down off the mountains, the leaves come off the lawn too. The work reads plainest at dusk, when the light lies long across a yard that was cut that morning.
