About Christian Anker Inc

Pateros sits where the Methow River slips into the broad Columbia, and on an August afternoon heat shimmers off the brown hills while the water below stays cool and blue. Christian Anker Inc keeps lawns in this river town, where a square of lawn is a deliberate act against sagebrush and summer sun. Anker sounds like anchor, and the work has that steadiness: mowing on schedule, cutting crisp borders, keeping grass trim enough to stay soft underfoot through the hottest weeks. Orchards climb the benches around town, and a well-tended yard belongs to that same old habit of coaxing dry ground into bloom. In the evening, when the wind drops and the river goes gold, a Pateros lawn is a cool, green place to stand.
