About Cityturfempire LLC

After dark the Cable Bridge strings its lights across the Columbia and Pasco reads, briefly, like a city. Cityturfempire LLC keeps the green parts of it -- front lawns on the numbered streets, turf strips beside parking lots, back yards that end at a fence and a view of the river bluff. The work is mowing, edging, trimming, fertilization, weed control, aeration and cleanups, run as a route so no address slips a week. Turf in this climate is a managed thing, and the reward is coming back on a Monday to find a whole block sharper than it was on Friday. That is the entire ambition: a town's worth of grass, kept.
