Full Circle

About Full Circle

Carlisle Lake began as a log pond for the town's lumber mill, and now it rests at Onalaska's center, its still water holding the reflection of a timber past. Full Circle tends lawns in a community that knows something about coming back around, from mill town to quiet hometown, from bare ground to green. Mowing here follows the calendar's own loop: the first cut in early spring when the grass leaps, even passes through summer, one last tidy trim before the autumn rains take over. Each round finishes where it started, at a crisp line along the walk. On a May morning by the lake, an Onalaska yard just mowed looks complete in the way only a circle can.
