Arch Excavation

About Arch Excavation

Ground has a shape in Okanogan County — basalt benches, coulee shoulders, the long tilt of land down toward the river — and a mowed lawn either honors that shape or argues with it. Arch Excavation reads the fall of a yard first, then cuts to it, so the lines follow the contour instead of fighting it. Spring arrives here as runoff and bunchgrass greening on the hills above Omak, and the lawns wake all at once, hungry for a first pass. Mowing, edging, string trimming and cleanup are the work; a slope that looks intentional is the point. There is real satisfaction in stepping back at the end of it and finding the ground reading true.
