About Pj Lawn Services

Late August out toward Tenino, the old sandstone quarries hold cold green water and the fields along the road have gone the color of straw. Pj Lawn Services covers that southern reach of the Olympia area, mowing lawns that spend the summer half sun-bleached and the rest of the year emerald. Cutting level, trimming the fence lines, edging the walks and clearing the cuttings — the same care whether the grass is racing or resting. There's a plain pleasure in a mowed yard at the end of a hot day: hose coiled, lines straight, nothing left lying around. Then the first September rain comes and it all starts growing again.
