About Double D Tree Service LLC

Watershed Park still holds a stand of old Douglas fir and western red cedar that never got logged, rising over the ravine Moxlie Creek cuts through the middle of Olympia's east side, and Double D Tree Service knows exactly what an ice-loaded canopy like that does in a hard freeze. Limbs carrying a coat of frozen rain get heavy fast, and the ones that let go don't wait for a work order. The crew's winter calls run more toward the wreckage snow and ice leave in the trees themselves than toward plowing: a cracked limb over a driveway, a widowmaker hung up in a neighbor's cedar, a walkway blocked by a branch nobody saw coming down. Double D clears the debris and whatever it was blocking in the same visit, working lots across a town where a cold snap rarely lasts long enough to fix the damage on its own.
