Out past Steamboat Island Road the mailboxes cluster at the lane ends and the oyster beds sit uncovered when the tide drops on Eld Inlet. Danielson Lawn & Landscaping keeps lawns on that rural west side of Olympia, where properties run big and grass grows fast under all that generous gray sky. The work is mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup, done on a schedule people can set a week by. Wind off the water lays the grass over, and cutting it level anyway is a small point of craft.
