About Uncle Bub's All in One

Ocean Park stretches narrow between Willapa Bay and the open Pacific, and the handful of roads that cross it — past driftwood piled at the beach approaches, past the oyster sheds along the bay side — rarely see anything but rain. Uncle Bub's All in One takes whatever the peninsula needs on the mornings that's snow instead: driveways cleared along the beach-access lanes, front steps salted before the day's first walk to the shore. The fog that usually sits over the bay burns off slower under snow, holding the cold in low against the tide flats until midday. By the time it lifts, the driveways this crew has already worked are the only proof the morning was any different from the hundred rainy ones before it.
