All Island Tractor Works

About All Island Tractor Works

Whidbey runs long and narrow, so a mowing route here gets measured in miles of two-lane blacktop as much as in square feet of grass. All Island Tractor Works cuts, edges and blows clean the lawns of Oak Harbor, working the island's length from the north end down toward Greenbank. Late summer turns the road shoulders a dry gold, and a freshly mown yard set against that gold reads like a page turned. There is a plain satisfaction in the last pass before dark, when every stripe lies the same direction and not one clipping is left on the walk. It is lawn care shaped for a place where the drive between jobs is half the pleasure.
