About Hecker LLC

Newman Lake in August smells like warm ponderosa, and the lawns run right up to the pine shade where the needles never stop falling. Hecker LLC mows through that dry eastern-Washington summer with the cut kept high, so the roots stay covered while the heat holds. Edging along the drives, trimming around trunks and the path down to the water, raking needle drift off the grass: the round is simple and it repeats. Autumn cleanups put a yard in order before the real snow arrives out here, which it does in a way the west side never sees. A green lawn between pine shade and lake water is a small triumph of steady attention.
