Naselle Septic & Excavating

About Naselle Septic & Excavating

Twice a day the tide pushes up the Naselle River, and the water, half salt and half hill runoff, slows to a mirror under the alders where great blue herons stand as still as pilings. Naselle Septic & Excavating is a septic and excavating business that also keeps lawns in order, an outfit used to thinking about what lies beneath a yard as well as what grows across it. The grass over and around that ground is cut on a regular round so the open stretches of a rural lot stay walkable and tidy. In June the light lingers until nearly ten, and elk sometimes drift down at dusk to graze the margins of the pastures. A trim lawn beneath that long evening sky is honest work in a river valley this green.
