About Sam's Landscaping

Winter in the Skagit brings the birds back — snow geese lifting off the Fir Island fields in one white sheet, swans out toward Conway, fog lying low across the delta until noon. Sam's Landscaping works the cold months around Mount Vernon the way it works the warm ones, keeping yards cut back, cleared and orderly while the ground rests. When growth returns the mowing goes back on schedule, edges get redrawn along drives and walkways, and the trimmer takes the fence lines and the awkward slopes. Cleanups haul off what a season leaves behind so nothing lingers into the next one. Pulling out of a driveway on a gray morning with the place looking like spring has already been decided — that's the part worth showing up for.
