About Throne Services

In June the light out here holds past nine, and that last hour turns every lawn in town a deeper green than it has any right to be. Throne Services spends that stretch of the year in the yards near the marina and Blue Heron Park — mowing weekly, trimming along fences and shoreline edges, edging the walks, clearing cuttings off the concrete. The breeze comes up off the water as the sun drops, the grass smells like the entire summer at once, and the work is honestly pleasant. What stays behind is a yard with definite borders and an even surface, the kind of place worth sitting outside in. That's what this crew is after, every visit.
