Crab Creek comes down through the willows and gives itself to the lake without much ceremony, and by April the whole low ground along it has gone bright. That is when Eduardo's Landscaping starts the year in Moses Lake: the first mow of the season, when the grass is soft and thick and the clippings smell like the beginning of everything. Edges get reopened after winter, trimmer work clears the fence lines, and the beds get their outline back.
